Job Description
OVERVIEW
As a Product Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the product development process by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, design, and support. You will work closely with the Product Manager and VP of Product to define and prioritize features, ensure product requirements are met, and deliver high-quality products that align with customer needs and business goals.
Job Tasks:
- Participate in all Software Development Lifecycle phases including design, development, testing, and post-production releases.
- Assist in defining and prioritizing product features based on customer feedback, market trends, and business goals.
- Write and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements for the development team.
- Work with design and engineering teams to ensure product features are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
- Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and stand-ups to ensure alignment with the product team.
- Analyze, interpret and contribute to design specifications, business requirements and end-user feedback and apply information to the testing process.
- Monitor product performance, analyze user data, and suggest actionable improvements.
- Perform market research and competitive analysis to understand and craft high-value solutions.
- Conduct software demonstrations and cross-training sessions.
- Help maintain product documentation, release notes, and other key resources.
- Other miscellaneous duties identified by management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in product management role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Basic understanding of Agile methodologies software and product development process.
- Analytical skills, creative thinking, and problem-solving ability.
- Efficient use of business software like Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
- Must demonstrate effective time-management skills and comply with project deadlines.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies including SCRUM.
- Familiarity with product design software such as Figma, Adobe Create Suites, Sketch and similar tools.
- Familiarity with Jira, Miro or other product management tools
- Passion for creating great product and a willingness to learn and grow in the product management field
