WHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT
You will be a Marketing Executive from the B2B conference marketing world, ideally with an interest in tech and definitely with a willingness to learn! Naturally hands on and agile, you will relish being in a fast paced, dynamic and ever-evolving agency where you are at the heart of creating and growing our conference portfolio and brand. A proven and knowledgeable marketer, you will have full marketing mix experience and understand relevant market trends to help support key stakeholders.
WE WILL COUNT ON YOU TO
As our Marketing Executive, you will drive marketing activity in alignment with the overall conference strategy to achieve event attendee targets (both virtual and in-person). Working closely with the Head of Conference Marketing, you will support the delivery of multiple small and large events, culminating in our flagship event, London Blockchain Conference.
- Work on multi-channel marketing campaigns to generate new data leads, engage with the contact database and boost brand and awareness
- Contribute to all marketing activities detailed within the marketing plan to help achieve targets
- Monitor and report on marketing performance across digital channels
- Help drive social media channel engagement
- Conduct market research
- Research potential partnership opportunities and liaise on contra deals – ensure all campaign deliverables have been actioned
- Work effectively with agency stakeholders and third-party suppliers
- Work closely with the Sales team, supporting sales initiatives that help market the conference and drive sponsorship opportunities
WHO WE THINK WOULD BE A GOOD FIT
- Proven experience and demonstrable success in a B2B conference marketing role, ideally within the agency space
- Experience or interest in technology or fintech – eager to learn about our business, space and clients
- Full understanding of the marketing mix and knowledge of how to create strategies to target new audiences and grow conference attendees
- Experience of running successful multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Good understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practice
- Proven stakeholder management and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships and a strong network
- Highly collaborative and a strong team player – loves working with others to build a better business
- Proactive, uses initiative, is solution oriented – can work independently and autonomously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – able to listen and understand others well
