Compliance Product Owner

About the role

We are seeking a Compliance Product Owner to join our team. In this role you will play an important part in ensuring our products adhere to regulatory requirements and industry standards. You will collaborate closely with Compliance, Development and other stakeholders to manage and maintain the integration of the Compliance tools into our tool landscape. As our Product Owner you understand the compliance requirements, translate them into product requirements and act as primary point of contact between the development team and compliance team.

You will have the following responsibilities

• Prioritize compliance features and improvements based on regulatory requirements and business needs.
• Ensure compliance aspects are integrated into product planning and development.
• Liaise with Compliance colleagues to understand regulatory changes and their impact on product development.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance requirements are met.
• Serve as a main point of contact for compliance-related product queries and issues.
• Translate regulatory requirements into clear and actionable product requirements and specifications.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of compliance requirements and their status within the product lifecycle.
• Promote culture of compliance and awareness within the organization.

What you bring along?

• Proven experience as Product Owner or similar role in financial services environment.
• Degree in Business, Finance, Law, Information Technology or related field. A certification as ‘Certified Scrum Product Owner’ is a plus.
• In-depth understanding of relevant compliance regulations and frameworks.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools.
• Ability to identify, document, prioritize and groom requirements/user stories with acceptance criteria and documenting key decisions.
• Excellent analytic, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risk.
