BSV Blockchain recently had the opportunity to sit down with Maria Kassam (VP of Marketing at Lumistry) to discuss her work, why she chose to become a BSV Ambassador and some of the exciting projects she has planned.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and your role at Lumistry?
I’m the VP of Marketing at Lumistry, a company that focuses on pharmacy technology and services. My background spans across SaaS, the auto industry, fashion editing, and tech.
Working in the Middle East and the US has allowed me to develop a strong understanding of different markets and how to approach them. It’s also given me the opportunity to take on hands-on, practical marketing projects that help businesses grow and connect with their audiences.
What are some of the ways you aim to use your skills in blockchain?
I’ve been in marketing since 2006, so I’ve had the chance to see how technology, data, and communication strategies evolve. With blockchain, it’s an exciting opportunity to leverage my marketing expertise to help people understand what’s happening in the space.
I aim to contribute to raising awareness and encouraging broader adoption by simplifying how we talk about blockchain technology, making it more accessible to people from all backgrounds.
What excites you about the BSV blockchain the most?
What excites me most about the BSV blockchain is its scalability and its ability to keep transaction costs low, making it accessible for a wide range of real-world applications.
The low transaction fees are a game-changer, allowing businesses to process payments more efficiently, even at high volumes. The combination of scalability, security, and low costs opens up so many possibilities, from micropayments to large-scale enterprise solutions, which makes BSV stand out in the blockchain space.
Why did you decide to become a BSV Ambassador?
I was referred to this opportunity, and I saw it as a great chance to help increase awareness of such a powerful technology. Being bilingual and having a wide network across different industries will help me introduce BSV’s capabilities and solutions to various sectors.
It’s a unique chance to help drive adoption and make BSV more familiar to people, especially those who might not yet fully understand its potential.
