Operations Specialist – BSV Association
For our office in Zug (Switzerland) we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Specialist on a part-time basis (60-80%). You will oversee and coordinate a wide range of tasks related to day-to-day office operations, and supporting management with finance and HR processes. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys a dynamic work environment and has a strong ability to work across various operational functions. You will support the Managing Director, and coordinate work with several professional services providers.
Main activities:
This is an operational role reporting to and supporting the Managing Director, working directly with teams of employees across multiple departments, regions and external stakeholders, focusing on:
• Business Operations: Manage and evaluate organizational operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to established policies.
• Organizational Coordination: Managing administrative tasks, such as maintaining documentation, contract management, and the development of operational processes and procedures.
• Finance Support: Assist management with reporting, cost tracking, and potential cost control measures.
• Special Projects: Execute and oversee ad-hoc projects, such as certifications and other strategic initiatives, as required.
• Internal communications: Provide support for HR activities and contribute to internal communications and engagement initiatives.
Expected candidate’s profile:
• Experience: Demonstrated background in office administration, finance, or HR support within cross-functional environments. Degree in accounting, business administration, HR, or a related field.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, fluent in both English and German.• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Personal Attributes: Proactive and hands-on—ready to take initiative. Highly organized with an impeccable attention to detail. Comfortable working independently and managing confidential information with discretion.
