What will you be working with?

Collaborate in designing technical and informational architecture for data-related systems, including data warehouses, data marts, and operational data stores
Engage in both data modelling and database design, translating logical models to physical implementations
Design, implement, and manage the data warehouse processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading
Develop, test, and monitor secure API endpoints for data access both internally and externally
Build and maintain business and operational reports
Handle data extractions for partner companies and ensure the quality and uptime of data flow
Work with stakeholders to maintain the data warehouse’s health, performance, and cost-effectiveness
Translate business questions into applicable data-driven reports and applications
Assist in monitoring and maintaining system performance, reliability, and recoverability
Write SQL functions/procedures and configure pipelines within Microsoft Azure data services
Support the Infrastructure and Reporting teams and maintain comprehensive documentation for the company’s databases

Here is our wish list for what you can do already

B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
5+ years in data warehousing, business intelligence, or managing complex database systems
Proficient in relational and dimensional data modelling and database design
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tooling
Experience with Power BI, Azure Data Factory, and preferably Kafka
Strong analytical skills to address business problems and offer professional solutions
Knowledge of Azure data capabilities
Excellent command of T-SQL and Python
Experience in finance is a bonus
Understanding of blockchain and cryptography is advantageous
